Physics Wonder Room

SPS this week is a big day! Meet outside Malott 2074 at 4:00 this Friday!

We will be setting up our Physics Wonder Room for the Chemistry Fair!
If you volunteered to run a demo please bring your materials with you. We will make sure we have everything we need and train everyone on their demos. If you want to help run a demo please come so that we can find a place for you to help!

For the Fair on Sunday, please show up at 11:30-12 so that we can do our final setup for the start of the Fair at 1:00.

Things will be running from 1-4 on Sunday, so even if you cannot help please stop by and see the displays from our SPS group and the Chemistry department!

SPS 10/23: Best of YouTube Physics

Hi there physics fans!

Guess we haven't updated this much recently, but here's the current news:

Bring the links or lookup info for the most awesome physics and science related YouTube videos you know to this week's SPS meeting (Friday @ 4 p.m. in 3005 Malott). We'll view videos on the big screen and have a "swap" of our favorites!

Food will be provided -- all students, staff, and faculty are welcome, so feel free to bring a friend!

8/28 First meeting

Hello all. This year's frist meeting will be held this Friday August, 28th at 4 PM in 3005 Malott. Join us for free food, drink and a physics themed game of Pictionary. Open to all students, Physics majors or not.

New SPS Website

Welcome physics enthusiasts!

Alright, so we're going to make an attempt at having an actual working website where people can check out what's happening at SPS.  So we'll be posting recent and upcoming events on here, and will have links to photos, an SPS calendar, and whatever other mischief we can come up with.
